Preheat the teapot: First, pour hot water into the teapot to warm it up, then discard the water. Place a small tea cake inside the teapot and let it dry-steam for 10 seconds. After that, uncover the teapot and pour water (at about 90°C) over the tea cake, letting it steep for 60 seconds. At this point, the tea cake has not fully opened. You can drink the light tea to taste its sweetness.

Second brew: Pour water over the tea cake and let it steep for 30 seconds. By now, the tea cake has fully opened. You can experience the refreshing and lingering sweetness in your mouth, and feel the coolness brought by the astringency (which is actually very mild) when you take a deep breath with your mouth closed. Slowly savor the duration of the sweetness and the layers of the tea's texture.

Subsequent brews: For the next few brews, steep the tea for 20 seconds each time until the sixth brew, where you can let it steep for 30 seconds again. Continue this process until it becomes mild, you can try steeping for 2 minutes. Each brew has its own unique characteristics.

If you are not brewing the tea: Let it cool before pouring out the tea. It will still taste very good.
